Any thoughts on either bike? Nothing really wrong with the Willard.
Its got rack and fender mounts for commuting. It's only 9 speed in the rear but by the time the shifters get rattly and the drivetrain wears out you can upgrade to 10 or 11 if you want.
Or leave it at 9 and enjoy a wide range of cheap compatible parts. You get all Shimano and TRP brakes, no "mystery meat" substitutions.
It's also got through-axle front and rear so you're future-proofed there. Seems hard to beat for a commuter.
Back on the 3rd page here squak has a pretty good review of his Roker if you wanted to feview it. After reading schwinn bicicletas most recent article "good vibrations" I am a little concerned about the "stiffness" of the Roker Comp verses the Wilard 1. The Roker Comp seems to not include any of raleigh willard 1 review vibration dampening stem or seatpost.
I know that the carbon frame will be "stiffer" just because of the nature of the material, but will it also dampen reveiw and shocks raleigh willard 1 review well as the aluminum frame with the vibration dampening stem and seatpost?
I would bet that the "shock absorbing" stem performance bike campbell seatpost are more marketing than actually functional, intended to assuage people who are worried that the aluminum frame is too stiff because that's the reputation the material has.
The carbon willarv might be stiffer, but it might not. It's hard to say without riding them back to back and then cutting up the bikes to check to see how raleigh willard 1 review built.
Quote from MikeM I have the Willard 1 and it's a great bike, so this is even better for the same or lower price than with the corporate discount. Nice deal. I'm happy with it but it's raleigh willard 1 review first road bike. Probably going to revew to crank. I'm in Ohio and it's so damn cold.
At some point I'm moving somewhere warm all year around. Does Slickdeals every have deals raleigh willard 1 review Fat Tire bikes? Quote from buttonsguy: I have no need for a bike right now but thanks to the Slickdeals effect I'm interested. Maybe buy a used set of wheels equipped with road tires for easy swaps for road rides. A lot of it is the motor not the bike. Thanks for your response.
bicycle tire diameter I used to do a lot of road riding and have had a few true road bikes over the years. How does your Willard compare to your road bike in handling and pedaling response? I dont have a lot of miles yet, just got it 2 days ago. Biggest difference is geometry and weight. Gravel bikes tend to have a longer wheel base raleigh willard 1 review longer than my road bike and raleigh willard 1 review more upright, relaxed geometry.
My road bike has a very aggressive geometry, lower stack height, twitchy steering. Part of why i bought the Willard was the more raleigh willard 1 review and relaxed riding position and to get me texas bikes the roads where it is raleigh willard 1 review pretty nuts with distracted drivers. Bought this to give me other riding options, not replace my roadbike. Originally Posted by robc in wi.

Where the bike falls a bit flat is the brakes. Nothing compares to the power and modulation raleigh willard 1 review hydraulic disc brakes, and the TRP Spyre C, the OEM version dillard the Spyre mechanical disc brake, definitely does not stack up.
The dual piston design is better than other revie piston mechanical brake designs, but I definitely missed my hydraulics. Everything is well packed, and there is minimal assembly needed.
Other than a few tweaks to dial in my raleigb, I had the bike unpacked and assembled in under 30 minutes. The Raleigh Willard 4. Plenty of clearance on both ends of the Willard in case things get muddy. The Raleigh branded saddle was pretty comfortable for a stock item. If there are any suggestions as to which size 49 cycling shoes is better, I'm all ears.

It is a capable road bike that excels on gravel roads. Can put racks on and tour, commute etc Mine has a 9 speed Sora which does the job well except in group rides. Not raleith what groupset is on the 2 these days.
Raleigh raleigh willard 1 review one of the first sell my road bike to commit to a gravel bike raleigh willard 1 review the Willard has been out for a few years now. The model has a vibration dampened stem and seatpost which takes the edge off the harsh stuff.
One thing to consider is the wheelbase, it is longer than most bikes I looked at but something I was looking for in a bike. Let me rdview if you have any specific questions. No experience with other bike, never heard of it.
